Sara Codarin is a PhD candidate for the XXXII cycle at Department of Architecture, University of Ferrara. She is a licensed Architect graduated with a master thesis project in Africa developed with the NGO Scsf, in a framework of international cooperation.
In 2015 she joined the departmental Architecture>Energy research centre where she had the opportunity to expertise and focus on innovative digital systems for the update of building processes in the current digitisation panorama, also with references to developing countries and post-emergency scenarios.
Her working experience at Dshape in London introduced her in the research area of 3D printing and additive layer manufacturing on the architectural scale.
Since 2012, Sara has been involved in academic activities at Department of Architecture in the role of lecturer for the Design and Construction Laboratory I, teaching assistant for the course Architectural Composition I, and didactic tutor for the courses Building materials and Theories of Architectural Design.
