Famiglie e servizi: verso una tipologia di forme di partecipazione nei servizi per l’infanzia
This contribution comes as part of an international research project on the issue of participation in relation to quality within Early Childhood Education and Care. Faced with a plurality of meanings related to what participation is, can or should be, is here advanced a study aimed at clarifying the concept of participation and to reveal its implicit in order to ensure consistency between statements and participation practices. At first, a possible definition of participation will be analyzed and, based on this, it will then be set and discussed the process of building a typology of forms and practices of family participation in the context of Early Childhood Education and Care.
