L’abitazione, riflesso e scenario dell’abitare

Olga La Rana

Abstract

Habitats are produced by empathic relations between individuals and environment. The house’s the centre of this process: more than a pure form, it should be a symbol of spatial identity which determines social morphology of cities. By facing the defeats of mass housing, domestic horizon is to be adapted to contemporary metropolitan heterogeneity. By invoking equilibrium between individualism and urban life, private and collective spaces become flexible and open to the environment by fluid limits.
