Bio-based and Applied Economics

Bio-based and Applied Economics is a free-access on-line journal promoted by the Italian Association of Agricultural and Applied Economics (AIEAA). Although mainly devoted to scholars and well established researchers BAE also encourages submissions by young researchers, teams involved in ongoing research projects and also relevant actors in the field of bio-economy and related public policies.
BAE publishes contributions on the economics of bio-based industries, such as agriculture, forestry, fishery and food, dealing with any related disciplines, such as resource and environmental economics, consumer studies, regional economics, innovation and development economics.

It is a pleasure to announce that BAE was recently accepted to be indexed in Scopus, one of the most internationally recognized databases in the academic and scientific community, Elsevier’s property. This milestone represents international recognition of the journal's and its published articles' quality . Once the inclusion of articles in Scopus is completed, these will be widely disseminated, searched, accessed and cited.

ANNOUNCEMENT: BAE JOURNAL accepted for indexing in ERIH PLUS

BAE has been approved for inclusion in ERIH PLUS. The European Reference Index for the Humanities and the Social Sciences (ERIH PLUS) is the most important and prestigious reference index in the European Union when it comes to international quality and impact accreditation for scientific journals in the areas of Humanities and Social Sciences.
